Does anyone know the difference in handle thickness between the Sebenza and Umnumzaan? I have a sebenza, but sometimes its a little thick riding in the pocket. Is the Umnumzaan handle thinner? More comfortable to carry (thinner print in pocket), etc.?

Thanks,
Sincerely
John

the 'Zaan's blade is thicker, but the washers are thinner, aren't they? Either way, the difference is close to nothing; less than two percent of an inch.

Seb blade .125
Umn blade .140

CRK website does not list the sebenza handle thickness.....

He is asking about the handle, and yes, they are thicker.

1) The blade thickness of the Umnumzaan (.14 inches) is greater than the Sebenza (.125 inches for Large and Small). For a folding knife, a .14 inch thick blade is a very, very large thick of steel.
2) The handle thickness of the Umnumzaan (.15 inches) is greater than the Sebenza (.125 Inches)

you mean 0.014inches (or 0.015inches, I thought it was that).

it isn't that much, I think it'll be negligible.

the Umnumzaan is a larger overall (thickness, width, height, weight) knife if you find the sebbie to be uncomfortable, then I suggest you look elsewhere as its one of the thinner knives of its type.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

I think I'll stick with my sebenza......perhaps I need a newer one...21.....hmmmmmm.

I think the 21 is the same thickness. As far as knives go, sebs are really thin. Perhaps you could use a small seb.

No, actually like the bigger sebs better.

It's okay its the same thickness. If im not mistaken the only differences, seem to be the radius's more refined, and the lanyard hole now has a pin to attach the lanyard?
