Handle this!

The handles are made of G-10, a thermoset laminate (heated and compressed) of glass and epoxy. It is a very strong and dense material.

Gee, that was fast. So...there's an inside ? :D
Thanks guys. How easy to buy, and how pricey is this material?

It is easy to buy G-10 and not nearly as easy to buy a Strider folder. There is a pretty long waiting period for one.

G-10 is fairly expensive.

Last time i checked it took six months if you placed an order directly through strider. You might want to check some online strider dealers to see if they have any in stock.

Ditto.., yeah, you can usually find one.., and also check the "For Sale" Forums here on BF.com...

g-10, you can buy it at Kovals knife supply from 4.99 for a small piece on up, depending on thickness, color, size, ect.

If you're gonna work with G10(or CF, or micarta or jsut about any synthetic materials) make sure ya keep yourself healthy. Get a good respirator, and work in a well ventilated area. And then change clothes after you're done, cuz the dust will get in your clothes, and then as you move or whatever, the dust will be released again. Jsut a tip. :)
