Handle Thought

I've always thought that it would be a very effective shape for a khukuri, I also like the handle styles typically found on most Kopis'. I used to trim trees using a 32" X 1" machete with a birds head grip, it had a lanyard that you looped around your thumb and then across the back of the hand to help stabilize the blade, you could really put some stink on it with that birds head grip and swing away all day without much of a problem

I like it - except for the ring location. I understand the reasoning, but I don't think it would be come out like that (from Nepal). Plus, I end up putting a finger right on the seam between the bolster and handle a lot, so it would get in the way.

The palm swell and bulb at the butt is nice, though. Reminds me of Bill Moran and Jay Hendrickson's maple + inlay bowies.
