I recently radically scaled back my knife collection, and the PM2 (below) is pretty much my last remaining folder. I then took in the Steel Will Modus on trade.
I've heard the PM2 has far too much handle for it's own good, but never really looked at it from the perspective of blade to handle ratio. When I got the S.W. and had them side by side, I noticed they have almost identical edges. Not blades, just the edge. In fact, the S.W. has about 1/8" more cutting edge.

I like to be able to hold the knife with my index finger on the spine. Minus the finger choil, I can get way up on the tip of the SW. I can do the same on the PM2, but the knife gets noticeably tail heavy.

Overall, the SW is just a more compact package and gets a lot of edge in a well proportioned handle and blade.

I recently wrote about the PM2 being the ONE knife if I was reduced to just a single pocket knife. With the k390 steel and Aramis 3D scales, this is still the case. I have just finally come to understand what guys mean about blade to handle ratio.
I like all aspects of the PM2, but the SW blade to handle ratio is near perfect I'd say.
