Handle wrap help

I've been trying to find a step by step or tutorial on how to wrap a knife handle the way the knife in the attached picture is wrapped, specifically the braided portion at the top.

There are a number of Turk's head knot tutorials online. e.g., http://www.paracordguild.com/3l4b-turks-head-tutorial/
I found a different one on youtube with a very annoying voice and had to listen to it about 10 times to follow it successfully and make the knot.

I couldnt figure out the name of the knot. So that's a solid.
