Handle Wrapping Question (paracord)

So my brother recently bought a Hanwei Tactical Tanto and some Paracord. He wanted me to wrap it for him but I'm not sure what knot to tie it off with since it doesn't have a normal koshirae and there isn't a lanyard loop hole or anything. I searched all over (this forum, youtube, google, etc) and can't find anything on good knots to use when there aren't any holes to put the cord through. Anyone got a recommendation of a knot I could use? Even just the name of the knot would be perfect since it probably wont be hard to find instructions online on how to tie it.

Here is a pic of it so you have an idea of what I'm working with.

As mentioned, a square/reef knot would work or you might try various 'bends' to finish with the two paracord strands, working them down against the handle and trimming the excess. I tied these examples following diagrams from John Shaw's 'The Directory of Knots': Broach Bend, Tucked Broach Bend, Symmetric Hawser Bend I, and Symmetric Hawser Bend II.

awesome, thanks for the help guys. I'll try them out after I get some sleep and see how it goes (trying it at 3 am is probably not the best idea lol).
