hi guys,been awhile,been in proess of moving.anyone help me out,,replacing scales on old army baynet.is it best to make template?.and it is chrome now am worried about scracting it up when shaping the handle. thanks royboy good to be back,love this fourm......

Roy: Tape the chrome. Tape the blade, tape anythign you don't wantr scratches on!

Roy,easy way to make a template,with the old scales off,lay the handle on a piece of cardboard and tap it down with a non marring hammer.It should leave a good impression in the cb to cut out.
