i am currently working on my first knife and am not totally sure on how i want to fasten the handle on...i am working with full tang construction and i am personally thinking that i will use corby bolts because they look simple and they are cheap... if anyone else has any other ideas that would be simple because i am a beginner that would be fantastic...anything is apreciated

I use Corbys a lot, they're great. You can get them in stainless steel, brass, copper and I think I saw aluminum ones somewhere. You should still use some sort of epoxy, just to be absolutely certain moisture can't get under the scales and cause problems.

I use Corby's also. I second the epoxy thing. If you do go with corby's, don't crank them down as tight as you can after epoxy...can cause you to squeeze all the epoxy out and have minimal epoxy adhesion. medium pressure is sufficient, as the epoxy will also coat the threads and prevent them from unscrewing.
