I was given a new Bersa Thunder.380 duotone. Made in Argentina/PPK design, they retail for around $250.00 or so. I was very impressed with the quality you get for the lower cost, and it has been reliable to shoot, it's blowback operated and you have to clean them well after use and use the recommended ammo. Anyone else have one of these? and what do you think of them? Thanks.

I own one.. really the wifes gun though. Shoots really well and well worth the money. I shot one inch groups from 25 feet with no problem. We've put about 1000 rounds through it and no jams or missfires. I like a little more pop myself but it still is fun!

I had one a few years back, it was basically a walther PP clone but much lighter. It was a great gun for the price, very reliable and accurate.

They are a great gun for the money and very classy also with proper ammo the .380 can be a perfectly viable SD option I've been wanting to pick up the 22lr firestorm (pretty much the same gun) forever but other stuff just keeps getting in the way.

The Bersa Thunder .380 is a great pistol for the money. The new ones come with a magazine disconnect like the Hi Power, but they're accurate and (so far) reliable. The grips are comfortable, but a bit too thick for my taste so I've ordered a set of thin grips

DA is smooth. SA is good but unremarkable. It's a relative thing, but I'll go out on a limb and say that the Bersa has a better than average trigger for a combat pistol. It's not an issue when shooting the pistol.
I've attached a target from my first range session. Opening shots were DA transition to SA.
