I've noticed that some people get a PSK knife that was cord wrapped or blade only and want to have handles added. I can do this if someone buys one on the secondary market or bought one from me then decides to get handles.
This is the reason I've started adding 1/8" pin holes on the blade only and cord wrapped versions of the PSK knives. If you have a naked PSK knife and want scales, let me know.
Side note, if the PSK is the old style 4 hole version, the scales will be attached by epoxy only with one brass lined lanyard hole. Usually the bottom hole unless the top hole is prefered.

I should say, that I originally got a PSK blank, and later had micarta scales epoxied on by Scott. My PSK is one of the few knives that I actually use the hell out of, in all kinds of weather to boot (note to self, take care of O1 when you've used it during a hellacious rain storm). NO problems whatsoever with the scales at all. I have not done much batoning with it, except to try it out a few times. Knock on wood, I haven't had any problems.

Scott - I found that I always like my smaller knives with handles too. I want to make them without to cut down on cost and time, but 10 out of 10 times I am much happier when the customer requests handles. The end result is much more handier and has more eye apeal as well.

Brian, the cord wrapped PSK knives are still pretty popular but i hear you on the handles on small knives.

I agree. Sometimes a slightly thicker handle can help make up for a shorter handle.

I'd actually like to see a PSK with another 0.5" of handle. With Micarta scales. Maybe in S3V....
