Handmade and custom knives what are people buying?

Good thread recently on the custom knife hobby. Many of us are involved on different levels, we are buying, selling and are in contact with others who are doing the same.

So what is your experience as to what is and what is not selling in the last few years?

We have those who spend thousands on knives and those who spend hundreds. What is it that seems to be hot and what is going cold?

For me I see tactical has been hot and steady while old timey slip joints seem to be getting more popular currently.

The demand is up for smaller fixed blades and blades that are forged.
