At last, I decided to post this one.
I made this knife about 15 years ago as my second handmade knife.
Steel is M2, hardened to Rc59, the guard is stainless.
Patina is produced by dipping blade into nitric acid for about 30 seconds.
Overall construction is in Loveless way although my intension was to build my original Gerber Mark II.
Scale is wooden micarta.
Sorry for the rust on the blade.

No sheath was made as this knife is almost completely useless. haha.

Length: 1 foot
Blade: 7in
Thickness: 0.24in (6mm)
Weight: 0.7lb

Although this is my second knife, it is second finished one.
There was quite a lot of failure before this one was finished.

Any comment is welcome.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Kieth.
After this knife is finished, I lost the first knife, a medium sized fixed blade.
So, I had to make another one.

scale material is red sandalwood. steel is M2 hardened to Rc 65.
After this knife, I haven't make any.

Hi, SanitySource. Thaks for your attention.
Talking about steel, it's not bad, but not the best.
M2 is high speed steel, not for this kind of purpose.
Although this blade is processed never to be broken, I think
there are other kind of steel more suitable for this type of knife.

Hi, wayne. Thanks for looking.
Using blank is a very clever way to begin, I think.
After all, you finished your work to the sheath, which I gave up to make.
