C'mon, try again! I thought I would never be able to get one up, but I did. If you can't post a pic, try to post a link. Hey, if you show me your work, I'll show you a pic of my custom "rostfrei".

It is definately not hard to post pictures. First of all, are the pictures you are trying to post somewhere on the internet? They have to be to post a pic, if they are not on the net then you can set up a free account with www.photopoint.com , you will get an online photo album that you e-mail your pics to. Just like on the other thread, while replying, click on the "*UBB Code is ON" hyperlink at the left of the screen, under "Adding Images", there it will tell you exactly how to post pictures.

It is not hard at all, just keep trying and if somewhere you messed up just go back and check.

Quicksilver27's custom knife really looks good, did you make the sheath also?

David2584, what about it did you make? I noticed you replaced the pins and took out the latch, I also saw that the handles aren't as shiny, did you brush it with a metal brush to dull it?

Quicksilver27, nice handmades knives you have there. If you posted somewhere outside the balisong forum I'd bet you'd get a much better response.

BalisongMan: Ok, well I didn't actually make the knife, I just modified it. Actually, the whole knife began as a completely black $5 rostfrei. I should have some better scans later to show to handles.

I am not saying you suck because you didn't make it, I just know what the rostfrei handles look like and it looked a little bit different. It really does look cool, especially the blade. Are ya gonna keep it latchless?

Yeah, I'll put the latch on when I have the time. I planned to post more scans, but now after I sanded it with 1500 grit, its like a mirror now and I can't scan it. The handles don't actually look brushed, but actually look the same as the blade.
