Handmade knife timeframe question

Howdy, all!
I was wondering if any of you knew the current timeframe for the handmade knives? I ordered my CQC-6 from Mr. Emerson at the new York knife show back in 1999. He said at the time it would be about 5 years, which is rolling up soon.
Does anyone know what the current wait is, or a way one can find out a date for their knive's delivery, short of calling up and pestering them at the shop?

Calling and talking to Derek or Mary is really the only way.

I ordered a hand made in 1996 and was quoted 18 months delivery time. I'm still waiting.

Calling and pestering has done no good. I've called over a dozen times.

I've just sent an email and await a reply.

Even if you call Derek or Mary, there is no way they'll know. It's just one of those things that one day hopefully it will get here. I ordered a 6 and 8 in 98 or 99, can't remember which, and I'm still waiting as well.
