Handy little tool

Hey guys,

I started accumulating linerlocks like the Tempest, Vantage, Kalinga's and others over the past year or so. These, as you know, make great use of torx bit headed screws for scales, pivots and clip attatchments. I have been on the look out at parts stores and hardware stores for a kit containing the small sizes generally needed. T-6 thru T-10 would encompass almost, if not all Buck applications that I can see. I never seemed to have any luck and either they didnt have all inividually and/or in a set which included the tiny T-6. I was at a local, national chain(not sure if it is deal spotting to mention the name so I'll rhyme) with a the name similar to Madpants Motto:p and after looking in the tool aisle, asked the counterman if thats all they had and went on to explain what I needed. He reached over the counter right in front of where I was standing and pointed to this tool. Bygosh, it was just what I needed. $8 and some change for this handy little tool that has all the bits I could ever use on knives and it folds away need and tidy. It wouldnt do for higher torquing but it is perfect for the minimal torque required on Bucks. Just thought some of you guys may be in the same boat. Here are som pics.

thanks for looking and I hope it helps someone out.:)

I bought a set in a case that have a screwdriver handle. I took them out of the case to fit in my toolbox. I like yours better because they stay together. My set was a bit more than $8 also.

Thats what I was looking for Ed and couldnt find it, when I came across this, I figgered I saved a bunch of cash to be used on knives:thumbup::D

Dude, it is not a knife or real knife accessory per say, so its not deal spotting. Just tell us where we can get one.

I was thinking that as I realized how often Wally World is mentioned. Advance Auto Parts has them.

My set is from Lowes, 6 or 8 in a case (I am at work now). They are Kobalt brand.

I've had one similar to yours Fritz for years and they do come in handy. As you said they are really great for use that doesn't require a lot of foot pounds of torque.:D:thumbup:
