I just recieved this fighter from Robert Hankins:

It is big (6" blade, 11 1/4" OAL), great looking, and very (scary) sharp! The triple tempered 5160 blade is convex ground with 3/16" tang that is fully exposed along the top, bottom, and butt of the olivewood burl handle. The curved handle and blade have excellent fit and finish and give a super balance and feel. The knife is comfortably heavy; it feels like it could easily fell a small tree! The balance is in the index finger notch of the grip. This knife is an unbelievable bargain at $175.00

Plasmaphase - Sweet looking knife! With that blade design, it can be used for more than just fighting too. :)

Steelhed, been thinking about your comment on other uses -- now I'm thinking this can be a good all around camp knife. Thanks for the input.

I'm currently carrying a Bob Hankins Recurved Fighter I've had for about a year. I'm a big fan of 5160, and though mine is hollow-ground, I'd like it even more with a convex grind. Very nice looking; I especially like the handle.
