Want to win a very nice c1820 Nepalese 'hanshee'?
This piece is very well made with a layered steel blade, steel bolster and beautiful one piece 'chandan' (fruitwood) grip. Double fullers and typical shallow 'cho' of this style piece. No scabbard. You kukri knuts will know how rare a fine, authentic 'hanshee' is so here is your chance. I have shown it with 2 other 19thc kukris for comparison. The knife is 18" overall.
$25 per chance (send to my PayPal address to be entered: jpsf@sbcglobal.net and make sure you put in your name and that it's for the HANSHEE RAFFLE). If less than 28 people enter, your PayPal money will be cancelled. No more winners (of course you'll win!) after midnite PDST on thursday, the 29th of May. Winner will be chosen by an honest Nepalese Lama or Bill Martino's wife Yangdu. She does not take bribes.
Good luck!
