Hanson 'monster' slipjoint

Don says this is light in the hand, but here is a large custom slipjoint going to Blade next week. 'Monster' might not be the right word, but large certainly is.
He has taken a traditional design, added some fancy steel and a few screws, awesome amber stag and here is the result. The blade is just under 4-inches.

Man that is beautiful, but what did I expect. I really have not seen a knife from Don that I did not like.

Great to see him getting back into slipjoints. He is even submitting one as his M.S. test knives and I don't remember anyone else doing that. (forget about trying to get it ;).)

Sunnyd, the stag is dyed amber color, as is most amber stag these days. It's not really as bright in person.

You mean this one, Bastid? ;)

Gus, you are gonna be one lucky, smiling s.o.b. when you get your hands on that beauty!!! Congrats! Fortunately, I'll be there to see both the knife and the look on your face!
