Here is an image of my Don Hanson MS, "Pirate" Folder that I was lucky enough to draw for at Jerry Fisk's Microshow earlier this month.

It has a 3 3/8" laddered W Damascus pattern with Damascus bolsters and Siberian Mammoth Ivory. It is 7 1/2" overall.

Chuck Ward just posted this beautiful photo to his Flicker site. Thanks, Chuck.

what an AWESOME KNIFE!

This Pirate Folder is a beauty, Jim. I felt lucky just to be able to see and handle it in person. Serious pride of ownership goes with this one. Congrats!

Congrats Jim. I'm not much of a folder guy but I loved the very first "Pirate" Hanson I saw and love this one, too.

Jim, another beautiful Pirate Folder. It's my favorite design from Don at the moment. That's why, unless he comes up with something else creative, in around 8 months time I will have my own Pirate Folder:cool::thumbup:

Gorgeous. I think that was my favorite out of the batch in the pictures. Don does style like no other.

Jim, very glad you like it, thanks for posting. Chuck did a great job with the photo also!

Thanks for the good words, folks!

Wow. My two favorite Hanson folders in one thread. Those are some amazing folders. You folks are some lucky owners. I truly appreciate you posting the photos.

Thanks
