I received my Hanuman Ang Khola yesterday and it is easily one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork/bladework I have ever seen. I am researching the markings to see which Kami made it so as to thank them. I am very happy with this kukri and glad I found HI.

Would you be as kind as to share a few pictures with us please?

Describe the marking on the left side of the blade and maybe it will be obvious to one of us. Five point star, crescent moon, sun with rays for example. Grats on you Hanuman!

Probably Anil, Durba hasn't made knives for HI in awhile. Sometimes symbols can be used by different kamis during different times/eras.

Yes, probably Anil. However, due to the wording of the original inquiry I was not sure it was new stock. I wrongfully assumed it was a recent find of an older item. My bad. In any case, congratulations in scoring a most beautiful piece. Hopefully, photobucket will quit acting up and you can share some pictures.

Lovely jhutter33!! Thank you SO much for sharing so those of us with HIKV can get a bit of relief vicariously. :)
