I was recently pointed towards this by a member here. It seems to be exactly what I am looking for. But I am concerned with the quality. Can anyone give me some firsthand accounts?
 
If it's anything like my Hanwei Tactical Wakizashis, it will be tough, but will likely come fairly dull.

Everything I have ever heard about the tactical line of hanwei is that they are good products. Some people have said that they can stand to come sharper from the factory but that isn't anything that can't be fixed easily. The shape would be very easy to sharpen on a spyderco sharpmaker or worksharp.
