Alrighty...http://www.nihonzashi.com/ is great for info on some swords...the site seems to be down at the moment, however.
Buuuuuut......if my memory serves me correctly, the Tactical Wakizashi is around 6mm, or about 7/32"...right around that.

About there. I'm getting 5mm on mine just above habaki, by eyeballing it with a ruler.
