Hanwei Tinker or Cold Steel hand and a half sword?

I have narrowed it down to these due to being similarly priced and the size as a first sword. It won't be used to chop down trees or heavily abused. I intend to use it for cutting and maybe some light pell work so I'd like a tough sword so when I mess up it won't break or bend too bad. Which do you recommend for a beginner's sword? Thank you.

Personally I would go with the Hanwei product, it's a bit off historical norms with that dismountable system they've got, but I think it more likely to perform more like a historical piece then the cold steel product. Also the cold steel items have been a bit dodgy in terms of their quality control from time to time although they may have rectified that of late I don't know...

I was leaning towards the hanwei for the better steel and not too expensive replacement blades. Has any one here handled one? I have watched YouTube videos on one and it seems to be a good sword but it's mostly bottle cutting.

Go with the Hanwei Tinker. Designed by a guy who knows swords and they actually meet his specs. I've played with 'em many times--own the single handed HT and it is solid. If you're worried about the hex nut use some loc-tite on it.
