Here's a pic of the BFC Traditional Forum's annual knives for the last 10 years. Every year we some how come to a consensus and manage to get enough people to commit to buy enough knives to warrant a SFO run in limited #s. Our goal every year was to produce something that was different than the usual offerings. So here they are from 2006-2015 the BFC Annual Traditional Forum's knives... :)

Happy 10th Anniversary and looking forward to the next 10.

Nice group shot Ted! Maybe I'll get ambitious and put one together myself soon...

Does anybody have an idea yet of what the 2016 knife will be or when it'll be in the works? I look forward to picking my first up:thumbup:

I'll get a wallpaper quality shot up later. I'm still workin' on the history of the BFC Forum's knife thread but I just wanted a quick family pic. It'd a darn fine family too. :)

Sweet collection, Ted ! I am looking forward to reading your thread about the history of the BFC traditional knives. Was 2006 the first year of these?

I wish I had been around for all of them!
This years was my fourth:) That's a great collection you have there!

The first knife I remember was a real small run of Schrade Gen3 Canoes done in '05 after the closing of Schrade's doors, it was the first and only knife as far as I know, then in '06 we got together with the idea to make an annual knife that was something different, Unusual blade configuration or a discontinued pattern with minor change in covers or blade type. Canal Street Cutlery was a new and upcoming company comprised of several of Schrades recently unemployed top Cutlers and members of their management team.

It's something when you consider that 10 years ago BFC was one of their first customers and now as they get ready to close their doors for the final time we're one of their last. I wish all the Employees of CSC the best of luck and hope they all can find happiness and fulfilment in all their future endeavours.

Wow Ted! All ten are very nice but I think this year's is extra special.
Thanks to all who have made these possible over the years and to you Ted for collecting and showing them.

Very nice !! I have learned so much in the couple of months that i've been at this forum. The amount of information is overwhelming.
And the pictures are eye candy. I hope to have a # 11 in my collection.

Very nice man great collection I'm going to be buying one from someone here when I find a.2015 so I have one from first year.

Thanks for the group shot and historical comments, Ted. I'm looking forward to your history thread!

Very cool. For any of you who have several or all of them, what are your favorites? I sold mine from this year, but wouldn't mind picking another year up possibly.

My favorite is the '08 Northwoods Medium Stockman followed by the '09 Barlow rounded off by the 2013 Congress Jack. I love 'em all which is why I have 'em all but those three are my favorites as of today but that can easily change. ;)

2009 is my favorite, not because of the knife, but because of the year and everything I went through during that year.

My favorite knife is the 2011 , just about the nicest one made IMO. However, this years' knife is pretty darn nice!

I have the 2007, 2009, 2013, 2015 and I like all of them. My favorite is probably the 2009. It's my favorite pattern with D2 blades and the anonymously donated stag. Beautiful knife. I had all but the 2006 but I unloaded them.

My sentiments as well. My 3 arrived today, and I couldn't be happier - they're all wonderful works. It's overcast with a degree of sadness though, knowing this is the last we'll see from Canal Street. I hope opportunity finds everyone at CS!

Magnificent collection you've got there! I'm very much looking forward to the next 10 years as well.
