Good morning Bill--Happy 4th--Is there a way to add a picture to a thread without going thru a third party?:)

Happy Fourth, bye the way, I have no life, as you might be able to tell. I'm just happy, this is the first day I haven't had to work since the middle of May!

Email me the picture to rwillia@att.net.
I'll put it on my web account, and I can give you the address.

Bob

ps, this is a standing offer to anyone in the future who wants to post a pic, I've got 10 megs that I'm not using. :)

And a happy 4th to all.

8:57 Reno time, email answered, Am prayers completed, two cups of coffee and on 3rd, and maybe five cigarettes smoked. Off and running.

As soon as I catch up I'll dig up some 4th of July UBDOTDs.

Stay tuned.

Ha,
I just found my copy of CorelDraw, like I said, recent rebuild of my OS meant I lost everything I had. Well, now I can touch up, and resize photos again. :D

With many thanks to Bobwill1, the pic is of the GRS UBDOTD from last week..As you can see, it cleaned up nicely with fine steel wool,Ballistol and crocus cloth.. This is one hellofa blade. Thanks, Bill, for an excellent bargain..:D :D

I've gotten CorelDraw updated, 25 megs of Service Packs, but that's for 3 big programs, and countless smaller programs. Uncle, I envy your DSL connection. :)

So, I took the liberty to play with servtech's pic some. I turned up the contrast, brightness, and messed with some the color, oh yeah, and incase you didn't notice, it's a lot bigger now. :D Oh, BTW I'm viewing at 1230 * 1024, so if you think these pics are too big, just yell at me. :D You can see alot more of the detail, and the reflections, which help give an idea of how shiney it really is. :D Does anybody know what type of wood that is???

Hmmmm...

Saatisal, I think, also. The dark burl at the bottom of the butt cap, and just a hint (on my screen) of some golden glints of sap grain. This is one of the nicest woods I've ever come across for refinishing - the more you rub and oil it, the more the grain comes out. A real light show. I'm waiting (very patiently) for some more wood from Nepal. Triple doses of my happy pill help. So far. :p

Just got back from my folks' place. Stuffed myself to the gills with sausage, burgers, salads, clams, deserts etc....Can't wait to go to bed!!:D :D

Hope everyone had/is having a happy day:)
