Same to you Robbie and everyone else! :D No BBQ's for me this weekend. :( My family is down south having a BBQ as I type this, but I was stick up here doing overtime. :( Going to do a Roast Beast in a few minutes and eat it tonight while watching the fireworks. :)

Happy Belated 4th To Everyone !!

I was hangin' out in Huntington Beach all day.... BBQ'ing, bike riding, watch the youth culture of the beach....

And some great fireworks too !!

Happy 4th of July!!!
Huntington Beach? I was there when I visited California 20 years ago this spring...

I am off too! Even though I live in Canada, we had a 4 day Canada Day weekend, so I took Thursday and Tuesday off too! Gotta love a 6 day weekend!!!

yessir, I was hangin' in downtown H. B. !!

Watched the Centennial (100th year) of the Huntington Beach 4th Of July Parade... they'all paraded down 8th St to Pacific Coast Hwy, then south to Main Street, then up Main St. Main St is where the pier is.
I didn't see any knives on display, but the youth subculture of the beach was in full display: skimpy bathing suits, acres of tattoo's, and acres of flesh.

After the parade I wandered over to a friend's house on 13th Street for a BBQ, and nearly the entire community was partying in some fashion or another, with folks on the front porches enjoying La Dolce Vita.

It was glorious !!

Cheers,

Carl
