18 years ago I married the love of my life. She has changed me in several ways (for the better), but allowed me to be myself. She makes me a better ME. She is actually my other half, and I feel complete with her.
I never thought I'd be anything more than a loner with a chip on his shoulder. She showed me that it's ok to love. It's ok to crave companionship. It's ok to let go of insecurities, to open up and truly build and share a life together. She has given me four beautiful children. Although one didn't make it, I haven't forgotten him, and I know she hasn't either.
She is my wife, my lover, and my best friend. I am blessed beyond belief to have the love of this woman. And I'm quite frankly pretty shocked she's hung around this long. Ahhhh, dammit. (*sniff*tears*)...
I love you Babydoll. You're the greatest!

Thank you brother. I do treasure my family dearly, and I would kill or die for any of them. I feel truly blessed! :)
 
Happy Anniversary! It is a wonderful thing to find that special person that makes your life complete. I still don't know what my wife sees in me, but after 26 years together, I don't question it.

Thank you very much! I sincerely appreciate it. I agree with you as well - I just don't question it anymore, and hope whatever I'm doing stays "good enough"!

Congrats AntDog! You did well! I too will be 18 yrs this May, and I feel as you do. I think we both married above our skis!

Thank you brother, and I certainly hope so!
She always tells me "I can't wait until we're very old, so we can just sit on the porch, hold hands, and watch the world go by." Doesn't sound that bad to me! And best believe, I'll savor every day until we get there. :thumbup:
