Well it will be my 26th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1 and my wife surprised me with a new KMG! I knew about this a couple of weeks ago but didn't want post it until I got it and set it up. I guess me showing her pictures and talking about it non stop convinced her I really wanted one. I said there was no way I could afford one for quite awhile. She had some extra $$ in her account and wanted to get it for me becaused she knew it would help me with my knifemaking. I'm lucky she is so supportive. You guys were right, what a awesome piece of equipment! :D

Sure the KMG is nice, but I think your wife is even nicer!

What a woman!

Steve

PS Congratulations. 26 years, that's wonderful beyond description.

Thank you Steve, you're right, what a woman. I really don't know how she put's up with me :D No seriously, she really encourages me not to give up when I get aggravated. I'm not a quiter, just a hot head. I just hope this new toy won't keep me from hunting this fall. Naw never happen, I've got alot of knives to field test :D

congratulations! happy 26th. and good luck with KMG. its an awesome machine. you never know you might be in the shop more than you are in the woods.

now we're all doubly jealous of you, Scott.....:p

Congrats Scott, you've got twice the years on me and Tess but, if she can put up with me, we'll make it there. All the best to you and the wife.

Now I see better why you don't want to spring for a dewar right now. Wise decision. First things first. Great wife you must have there. KMG - WoW.

Happy Anniversary to both of you!

You're one of the lucky ones - a wife who supports your interests. Believe me, it can go the other way too.

Keep taking care of each other, and congratulations on your new tooling. You'll never be the same...

Thank you guys, I appreciate the congrats. Of course it always hasn't been wine and roses. Like everybody, we've had our ups and downs and like I said She puts up with alot from me. I'm into knifemaking also retail sales of factory knives at shows, hunting, reloading and guns. It was rocky at first, but I guess she figures me being determined at anything I do, I would probably never change. I was also a taxidermist for about 7 years. I still would like to do that but I simply don't have enough hours in the day :( My delema now is knifemaking vs. whitetail deer hunting. hmmmm, I guess I'll be a wore out pup from Sept. to Jan. Oh I forgot all the gunshows this fall and the Chesapeake custom knife show in Dec. All I can say is, GOD I love this business! :D

I almost forgot, congratulations Dave.I saw your knife in Blade mag. Way to go!
