Well, yesterday was my anniversary, 5 years together with the most wonderful woman in the world. A few of you may remember a while back I asked for some advice on a style of SAK, as that's what she was planning on getting me. Well, it seems the SAK idea didn't pan out.

However, she did manage to get me a knife anyway, a Boker Tang Stamp series 1900 stockman, with the frosted master blade etching, the dual tang stamps from 1900, and the dual commemorative shields. What can I say, I love this woman! :D

Good for you both! Sounds like you're a very lucky man.

My wife and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage come August. Don't know how she put up with me this long but I'm not asking either. LOL!

Hey, congrats, man! That's great. And she has good taste in knives, too. :)

Congrats on both the anniversary and the knife.

Good choice of woman and knife:thumbup:

As for the SAK, there's always next year.....

Be sure to give her some token money for it though (old European superstition, if you don't give a token for a knife gift, it will cut the friendship between you:eek:)

Congratulations on your marriage anniversary..Enjoy every moment as you go because marriage is always a work in progress..Some days need more work than usual...:D

Sorry, but after 42 years of marriage, I may get an extra kiss, BUT Fathers Day was a knock out, all the kids (3) and spouses kicked in and bought me another Collection Blade from William Henry, spouse just looked at me and smiled, they get her cards. Stay in there, you are a lucky man, the first 7 years of mine were a living _ _ _ l until I found Christ, Hope you stay together and you get a new knife every year for the next 37 and then you will have a nice collection. If you already don't:thumbup:

Thanks for all the congrats guys!

As far as I know, she picked it herself. I was looking over a friends knife selection down at the flea market, and I moved along and she must have went up after I was looking at something else and bought it. He may have given her some hints as to which ones I was looking at, I'm not sure.

Willgoy, don't worry, I gave her a penny for it.
