Talk about timing, three of my boys came tramping in the tent this afternoon, all sweaty and dusty from a supply run to Camp Doha. With grins all around they proclaimed, "hey Sarge, somebody sent you a big old package". The somebody was Ed Tank from down Miami way, and the package was stuffed full of goodies for my guys. Thanks Ed, and big thanks from the knuckleheads, when they read your note they couldn't help but chuckle and roll their eyes at me.

Today is Armed Forces Day and the chow tent really put on the dog for us, ribs and "near beer" (the true proximity of "near" is very much a matter of opinion:grumpy: ). Between that and Ed's care package, things are fairly festive here in camp.

Thanks again Ed, and by the way, I kept the Cafe' Bustelo for myself, that stuff is not for the young.;)

Doha, a camp designator? or Doha, Qatar?
My cousin is stationed at an AFB there. He does refuelling. Mark Hoover. his 8th time over. Cousin Keith says Hi, if'n ya see him.

Sorry Keith, but if I was in Qatar I wouldn't have to be settling for "near beer", they've got the real stuff down there. Hope your cousin's doing well, aerial refueling is a very important component of air power.
