Birthday isn't till the 4th, but I got a birthday surprise today. I had suggested the micarta to my Dad for a present, but he said he already got my present. So I was about to order them myself.

I was expecting the Spec Ops sheath in the mail, and was surprised to find not one but TWO boxes in the mailbox...He ordered my scales!

So my first Becker (not counting the BK11) is complete...

Nice setup, brother, looks real good. That sheath is pretty awesome. Loves me some knife kits. SO, thought about what you're gonna fill that bad boy with?

The sheath? The pocket doesn't have as much room as say, the ESEE sheath. Right now all I have in it is a Swedish Army Firesteel and a cut down Corona Carbide Pruning Shears Sharpener (great striker!)

Will need some sort of compact last ditch sharpening stone or rod.

Been thinking about getting the Maxpedition versipack, how do you like yours?

Cool sheath, man. Spec-ops, you say? I ordered a couple Beckers for my birthday present to myself, a BK2 and a BK11, both are in the post hurtling towards my location at a snails pace.
