It's not belated. It's still 7 September, out on the West Coast, where I am.

It's been very happy... first a great day with one of my closest friends, then a great evening with my ladyfriend. Tomorrow, I get to see my other closest friend, and her 2 year old daughter.

I've finally finished my course of doxycycline, earlier today, my health is improving, I have regained enough health to go for a very short walk, and I can finally go back out in the sun.

After my recent bout with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, I am fortunate to be alive, and very happy, despite the corollary health issues and financial issues. I am even luckier to have such loving and supportive friends, family, and romance... and they have made my birthday truly special.
