It was the best of birthdays.
We had the forge running by 8 o:clock and kept it running until two in the afternoon; with time out for pizza, of course.
Five friends came by the forge and we spent the day talking knives, working on billets of damascus and forging some big 52100 roller bearings into large clip point fighters.
To me, there is no better way for a man to spend his birthday than doing something he loves with friends.

Fred thanks for letting us come down and play it was a great time! Thanks again for the forging tips, and letting us butcher up some good steel
The pizza was great and what was funny is when I got home the wife had a pizza waiting. I can't wait to get to work on that 52100 fighter. I am working the wife on getting that hydraulic press and I think I am starting to break her Thanks again and I will be in touch. -Burton
