John claims to have reached the big 6-0 today but you'd never believe it to hang out with him. He'll run circles around most of us kids any day of the week.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Ol' John! And many more.

PS: You don't look a day older than 70.  HEHEHE!!!!!

Thanks, guys! And I really appreciate the humor. It helps when ya turn 60! Yeah, I can run circles, just slower than I used to. I wish I could remember why I am running in circles. IG, I can still get up and down the hills with my rifle while chasing those tree rats, and still find my way back home. Last night on patrol I thought about taking tonight off and spending it in the shop, but remembered I have a gravy patrol tonight. What do you think? Take the night off, or do the drive around looking at lots of deer and stuff for 10 hours, until midnight? Tomorrow starts my usual 3 day weekend, so I can do my shop work and goofing off fun tomorrow. I want to thank you all and our Blade Forums for remembering this old Injun's birthday, too.

IG, that sounds like a good idea! About the firewater, you got any suggestions, other than that cheap beer?
No way Jose'. I don't have any hair to spare if you get all fired up and head this way. But Jose' is my choice. :D

Hey no injun jokes, 'kay? I got Irish on my mother's side and Cape Cod injun on my father's side. I just thank the Maker I got no Portugese in me... :footinmou

Happy B'day, John! :D

Thanks, folks! Now that I have arrived just about midpoint in my life (great optimism) I am slowing down just a bit. It takes a bit longer to travel a mile and gravity is increasing the wooded hills. Eyesight is not as good, and my squirrel rifle had to be re-scoped to a 6X-24X. The drawbacks of reaching my age are slower grinding, squinting harder to see blade scratches, and having to add more shop lights. IG suggests older whiskey and faster weomen, but my wife says, "Go ahead, if you feel lucky"!
