Not long after I joined BladeForums, I found the Case Swayback Jack in Chestnut CV. I was drawn to it, unfortunately they had already been discontinued. I searched and searched dealers looking for NOS to no avail. I missed several that came up for grabs here on the board. Eventually I put a WTB in my signature line. And last May a member reached out. One year ago today I received my knife in the mail. It's been in my pocket everyday since.

Sounds like true love... Seriously, great find! I found one a few months ago hiding in an almost empty Case display in a hardware store. So glad I bought it, because the last time I was there they had gotten in a brand new, fully stocked display, and no one had any idea as to what happened to the few remaining knives from the old display. (I had gone back to check out a pocket worn harvest orange muskrat that I had seen there, but, like the others it was nowhere in sight.)

I’m going to be traveling through Missouri in about a month and plan to hand pick a single blade Chestnut. Can’t wait, hope they are still in stock.
