Well the mailman came bearing "gifts" from HI. My AK Bowie and my horn handled BAS showed up today.

First, with regards to the Bowie. ZOMG! I pulled it out of the sheath and my job hit the floor. Wow... just WOW! Yeah I NEEDED one of these! :D

As for the BAS... it was made by the same kami that made my wood handled BAS... pretty sure it is Dil. All I can say is the horn is nowhere near as nice as the wood... and that is a GOOD thing! The wood handled BAS is by far my favorite Khukuri, even more so than my Kumar WWII. The wood handled BAS was just too nice to even contemplate using. Yeah yeah, I know... they are meant to be used. I ordered the horn handled one to use, and I will... and it too is gorgeous. I just had something for the way the wood handled one looked and felt and could not bring myself to make her work. Now I have one that I can!

Happy Birthday my friend. Since that WWII Kumar is not your favorite,you can sell it to me for a little more than you pay for it: ) That way you not gonna have to suffer loking at it every day,...and you are going to be able to afford walking stick, after all this knives that you have 'obducted' lately.:D
 
Sure.. since "a little more" is relative... what do you say to $500 plus shipping and handling? :P
