Well, i'm celebrating 21 consecutive years of life on this slowly hurtling rock we call a planet today. Amidst a bunch of expensive gifts from family that I didn't really want (never understood that), my friend Patrick got me what I really wanted...
A Kershaw! Standard Skyline model. I've handled these briefly before but never really came to appreciate it until I carried it around for a bit today. Really, what a charming knife. It's so light you forget it's in your pocket, if you find the right angle on the thumbstud it will just snap open, and the G-10 handles feel great. What a sweet little EDC choice; my Groove is going to get jealous now!
of course I already swapped the clip around for tip up, took it apart and did a mild sanding on the washers and relubed it, and readjusted the pivot screw, then loc-tited it and the clip screws. So yeah. This one's good to go. Can't wait to see how smooth it gets as the washers wear in a bit more - my Groove is just unbelievably smooth now.
and here's some more KerPr0n for you guys:
anyway I think i'll get myself another sharp pointy object of enjoyment later this week when I total up the birthday money pull-in... I am thinking a Lahar or a RAM... thoughts?
