Cause the haters gonna hate..... anyway I love my 15(to poor for a 5 right now:rolleyes:) I'm sure that E would love to see bk 5/15 in action doing what they do best...... I bring you the 5/15 love thread ;)

Note reflection of compass on spine the coating came off there from batoning






Yes all that wood was batoned with the 15.... in the fire that is.....I cheated cutting wood though used an axe

For some reason it won't let me post pics in the first post... weird.... no action shots cause well I'm generally doing the action and photos

I have a 5 but it doesn't get much use. I prefer the 4 when I get up to that size. However, I LOVE my 15. In my eyes it is a purpose built game processing knife. I see almost all trailing points that way. I have used my BK15 on elk, deer and many, many lake trout. It has also cut a boat load of bait while icefishing. Do I still use it as a bushcraft knife on occasion? You bet. Did I take it on a snow cave trip last winter? Sure did! I love my 15. I carry it in both the stock sheath as well as a leather sheath for a short kabar. Depending on the situation both work well.

Mmmm... Elk.... I wear a size 11 boot...

The 5 and the 15 - two of my BK&T favorites for what I generally do with a knife.
 
I was fortunate enough to been able to trade for a cam bk5 at the Becker west gathering. Pretty much a grail bk5 for me. I will post some pictures soonish.
 
Such a beautiful pairing, I must make them mine.
 
I'd like a 15 but I refuse to pay over a hundred bucks for one up here. That's more than the huge 5.
