That pretty much sums up my dream knife! I'd take 3 of them regardless of handle material. Maroon, White ivory or even black would be awesome. Cool news to be sure:D

Yup, I played with it at NYCKS. Nice solid feeling little piece with a nice smooth lockback (Manix style, but not as thick)
 
I have always looked for the perfect knife. I believe this knife could be it. I can't wait till it comes out. I hope they make enough for all of us. The ZDP Calys ran out too soon.:grumpy:
 
I am VERY eager to see how this turns out, it seems like it just might be "the one" for me. As long as it is not too thick and not too wide meaning a super big hole, or wide handle like the Lil T or Manix, they are bricks in the pocket. Hope it keeps the wire clip, and I also hope it is more UKPN than Caly jr.

Never cared for the burgundy scales on the ZDP Caly. If this one has some higher grade materials (micarta, G-10, etc.) in standard Spydie black, then count me in. Would love to try the ZDP.

Just ordered the UK Penknife, so I'd be glad to get a US locking version.
 
howabout that new version of the BBL lock on the pakal, the one with little wings on the side.
 
My only problem with the Caly is the tip down config.

Make it have the clip from the UK PK and I'd buy several!

Does that mean it will be expensive? I have a feeling Sal is gonna smile all the way to the bank on this one. He has me over the barrel. I have to have this knife. I hope he has mercy on the wealth challenged.:o
 
Well, if it is made for afi's then it's going to have more exotic materials probably, with a higher cost. He's not making them to market to the world, just us :)

I don't have nearly as much money to spend as most of the people on these boards on knives, so I know what you mean Redhawk.
