Im mostly interested in this Kutmaster Barlow. Its my first one:D I have an older Boker Treebrand Barlow, but I like the nut better. Its oolllld and someone sure used the heck out of. They even replaced the main rivet with what looks like an old penny nail or something they hammered down on both ends. so there is a little blade play on the main blade, but it cuts like a durn razor.

The colonial small stockman has to missing bolsters, the other two have the brass coating off and its missing the shield.

The little custom made peanut is made from rosewood? It sharpened up fairly nice off an old norton arkansas stone my grandfather use to use. Alright walk and talk, no blade play. The blades are a stainless steel I believe, the brass bolsters are tarnished a little, the back springs are developing a small pantina, and blades are fine and there aren't any large gaps or spacing anywhere on the knife. It looks and feels fairly solid.

Naw, don't spoil it, I like Nutmaster better.:D I now have to search the intewebs for a Nutmaster peanut. It is my next holy grail knife search.:):p

Haha, I got a good laugh out of that. The K is so dark and worn down I can't tell what it is. I've only heard of the brand a couple times and didn't even think about whether it was Kutmaster or Nutmaster. Makes sense though, thanks. haha

I did not catch the Nutmaster mistake either. I thought, they must have a fantastic line of peanuts! Maybe Thomason will know about that maker. Great stuff.
