Happy Easter

We had a great day, mid 70’s here. Had a picnic near the lake, everyone brought food. Two of my daughters, their husbands, and three of our four grandchildren, along with my ex brother in law and his daughter.
 
Sounds like a great day. I bummed around today cleaning up axes and hatchets and getting ready for next weekends camping trip.
 
Hope everyone had a good Easter. My youngest came home from school and my Dad came over and we grilled. The weather was spectacular here.
 
Happy Easter! Maggie and I spent the weekend in TN taking ownership of our house in Winchester, and then cleaning. I cleaned the hundreds of feet of gutters on the new ranch-style house, and Maggie cleaned inside. I also got all of the double-hung windows open and we aired out the place.

No bad surprises - all is better than expected!

This morning I also exchanged my Illinois DL for a Tennessee DL - so now I am officially a TN permanent resident!

Tomorrow I file a "change of life" form and my company will stop taking the 4.9% Illinois income tax out of my checks.

I ment to tell you before, I've spent a lot of time around your new home area too! Have you been to Cowan yet? There is a pretty nice old RR museum there! It was an NC&StL RR Station, there is a real nice RR depot there around the tracks some place! I'm not exactly sure where around the tracks, I've heard that they relocated the depot from where it was when I was there last! You should check it out sometime you've got some time! That area is really nice country! Good luck!
