It's been a banner weekend so far. Yesterday, I received my new modified Hudson Bay Camp Axe from Offthemapoutfitters :thumbup:and today I received my Koster W&SS forum knife:thumbup:

Just a couple of quick teaser pics for now. My apologies for the crappy pics, but I was anxious to get something posted.:o

I know the main draw for me to this axe was the modifications that Brian makes to the head, however, I am very pleasantly surprised at how much nicer the handle is than the "stock" model. The fit, finish, and feel is absolutely beautiful.

I'm thrilled with both the axe and the knife. Thanks to both Brian and Dan for their excellent craftsmanship.

Hopefully, I'll have a chance soon to get some pics up of actually using these excellent tools. Thanks for looking.

Happy Father's Day indeed.

Three years ago I bought a Ratweiler for myself for Fathers Day. It's been downhill ever since.

Cool!

I bet that axe can cut like crazy. Is it made for chopping or splitting? Looks like chopping, but I can't really tell without an overhead angle.
