It's been a banner weekend so far. Yesterday, I received my new modified Hudson Bay Camp Axe from Offthemapoutfitters :thumbup:and today I received my Koster W&SS forum knife:thumbup:
Just a couple of quick teaser pics for now. My apologies for the crappy pics, but I was anxious to get something posted.
A couple of side by sides:

the axe side by side with the same model produced about 12 years ago.
I know the main draw for me to this axe was the modifications that Brian makes to the head, however, I am very pleasantly surprised at how much nicer the handle is than the "stock" model. The fit, finish, and feel is absolutely beautiful.

I'm thrilled with both the axe and the knife. Thanks to both Brian and Dan for their excellent craftsmanship.
Hopefully, I'll have a chance soon to get some pics up of actually using these excellent tools. Thanks for looking.
