I came home from school today and there was a package about half of the size of a shoe box sitting on the kitchen table. I hadn't ordered anything so I didn't know what to expect. I opened it and was thrilled to see the FHM Balisong I won from the x-mas contest and 3 AMAZING sheaths curtosy of the master himself, Clay. The Bali is a FHM with stag inserts and a Utility Bowie balde. It is probably 1/2" longer closed than my BM42 but for some reason seems like it's gigantic when it's open, kinda like in Crocodile Dundee "That's not a knife, this is a knife." Needless to say the sheath that clay designed to fit the Shoulder Harness provided by Anonoman is awesome. With a firm pull upward and out the bali is in my hand with the latch open. (That's right, autopopper!) Being the nice guy that he is, Clay also provided me with a horizontal and neck sheath for my BM42. Now I not only have to decide which of my 5 bali's I want to carry, but also what I'm going to carry it in. The shoulder harness feels so cool to where and each sheath is perfectly crafted, every edge is totally smoothed and everything looks like it was cast by machine without any imperfections.

Thanks again SniperBoy, Clay, and Anonoman (in no particular order of importance)

Hehe.. I really want to gloat but I won't.

Hey dude, glad you like the stuff.

That Shoulder rig is pretty cool Eh?? I definitely have to make myself one of those. I'm in the process now of putting another one together. Now, I just have to figure how to transfer that design to a belt mount.

Anyway, I'm sure it will work much better once you break the Balisong in. I didn't want to do it because I consider that a sacred part of owning a new Balisong. I only loosened the latch enough to be sure the auto-popper worked consistently.

A little tip: pull forward and down when you draw from the shoulder rig. It'll disengage smoother (and easier) and flow right into your opening motion.

Enjoy Dude!

Kentdog, Clay has posted pictures of it with the sheath attached off of his body. You can see he sheath and the bali perfectly but not really the shoulder rig. I'll see if I can take some poloriods of it while I'm wearing it so everyone can see how it looks/works.

I'm pretty sure I'm wearing it correctly but not sure. Clay, I could probably use you're help on this one. I've got the loop that the sheath is attached to over my left shoulder, 2 straps of elastic running behind my neck, and the end elatic loop over my left shoulder. The don't post pictures of how it is worn anywhere but this seems the most obvious. I tried spreading the straps and using it like a 3rd loop around my neck but that can't be right.

Mario, yeah thats where I got it from. For a long time I could recite the whole thing from memory but it's been a while and I'm missing a few lyrics.

The elastic loop goes behind your neck and loops around the RIGHT shoulder. Also, don't tighten the adjustment buckle too much as it'll cause the harness to creep up.

Make sure the joining area where the left side of the harness and the elastic strap meet is positioned just back of top center.

The opening of the sheath should be facing front.

Hey Clay when you looking at making more of those? Seems like an awesome design that I'd like a lot and wouldn't scratch the anodizing to much on my 42.
