Just want to wish you all happy holidays. ven though I don't get to spend as much time on our little forum as I'd like these days, just want to say how amazing it is for me as a moderator -- people behave so well that I never have to "moderate," and the knowledgeable members here always post great info, and share great advice in the most mature ways.

My hat is off to each of you, and I look forward to jumping back into the fray soon. Also, a special thanks to my co-moderators and friends, Ron and Greg.

Thanks Brian... and thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum... I feel that each and everyone of us are learning from one another.

It has been a rough year for me. I have divorced, changed jobs, and lost friends.

However, it has been a great year too.

1. I have a new job that allows me more time to run my wilderness programs and write.
2. I have a new and lovely lady in my life... one that enjoys the wilderness as much as I.
3. I have made new friends... ones that accept me for what I am and allow me to stand by my beliefs. Ones that understand.

Brian and Ron are two people I call friends... Both are great at what they do and are wonderful leaders.

I enjoy Stryver, plainsman, Michael, Jeff Randall, MichLee, Marion, Hoodoo, and many more people and wish I could spend time getting to know each better.

This forum is a wonderful opportunity to join a fraternity... a fraternity of like minded individuals dedicated to discussing the art of wilderness survival and living.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year to all!

I especially want to thank my friends Brian Jones and Greg Davenport for their time and support. This last year has been trying for many of us in a variety of ways but in the end, it has been one of the best years.

Hopefully soon we will be able to report on the "TAG Extreme" Convention we are preparing and with a little luck, many of us will meet to share skills and laughs.
