Thanks! Case seemed to change the position of the nail nick at random in this era, I have not been able to figure out a pattern. They also would change the position of the pen blade in the 1960 to 1970 time frame switching from pen in front to pen in back, I prefer pen in front.

Here's one you don't see very often, a XX barlow with match strike long pull clip and coping secondary!

That is very interesting, I haven't even noticed that! I had the impression all or most had the pen blade behind the main blade, which is the case with the small premium jacks, Texas jacks, heavy jacks and many other swell end models.
