Great looking barlows! Any idea why the nail mark is placed differently?
Thanks! Case seemed to change the position of the nail nick at random in this era, I have not been able to figure out a pattern. They also would change the position of the pen blade in the 1960 to 1970 time frame switching from pen in front to pen in back, I prefer pen in front.

Sure looks like someone photoshopped a Case XX bolster and tang to a Northfield Barlow, a store model at that.![]()
