Well done.
It's a great folder.
The compression lock takes a little getting used to, but it's an eminently usable knife.

Actually, I just purchase the Spy Tenacious, Manix 2 trans-blue LW, & the Delica 4 emerson opener YESTERDAY for under $150 = 3 knives.

So today I was just browsing eBay....a Spy PM2 pop up for sale for about $110 - MAN! I just spent $150, but I have heard how good the PM2 is and most I see is asking $160 up. So i bite the bullet and buy it. I may want to sell the 3 i purchase yesterday to balance my budget.

BTW: I also bought a LIKE NEW BM 707 (but serrated) I don't like serrated....but seller drop price to $70 shipped. I bite another bullet.

Damn, I'll be broke soon....BLADE FEVER

Ya I've been there sometimes it's hard to stop once you get on a roll! You will love the PM2. It's my most carried folder. I love how smooth it opens/closes and the compression lock is by far my favorite lock design because one handed opening and closing is so simple with it.

Uh...cool? One wonders how a person can enjoy a knife when they're more concerned with the buying than the actual product being bought.

I know the question wasn't directed to me, but here's my take

Buying a knife and looking for a good deal is part of the fun. I have enough knives to enjoy, and I will enjoy any knife I get after I enjoy looking for a good deal.

Tru dat. Buying a good knife is fun, extra fun when getting it at a good deal. Some deals are tough to pass....though one can resell knives that they don't like as much...but I have yet to resell any BM or Spy.

it sucks!

that i only have two so far :p i'm a lefty and it feels like it was designed for one too so that's a bonus.

Para2 is a definite "must have" for anyone who appreciates such a great yet simple design. They really got it right with this one. It just works.

I love the Compression Lock. One of my favorite lock mechanisms ever constructed. I would love to see more Spydies with the Compression lock in the future.

I also agree that researching , finding and buying a new knife is half the fun. Especially when one has been searching for a certain blade for a while and finally come across it. And at a good price. This recently happened to me as well.

Enjoy your new array of sweet knives man !!!

Thanks...I'm super stoked! Can't wait....PM2 was out of my price range for a knife that is on back order. Many seller blow up their prices....I can't find one under $150...maybe a used one. Finally got one for great price.

I picked my PM2 up for like $85 shipped but that was about a year ago or so. :)

Yep. My wife gave one to me for Christmas 2011 and, well, since we share finances I knew what it cost. I know it's the nature of the beast, but I'm still really disappointed to see it selling for $30-60 over what the retail price was only a handful of months ago. For everyone's sake, I hope Spyderco can start cranking them out again soon and send the prices back down.
