Happy 4th. Let Freedom Ring.
The Peachtree RoadRace, the largest 10k around, was ran again this morning, here in Atlanta. It started in 1977. Never been, 'cause I don't like to be in crowds. But, I was reading in the paper that there were several other "P'tree road races" in Iraq and Kuwait to commemorate. As if they aren't sacrificing enough...
10k is a long way. If my shoulder was doing a little better, I would have run this morning too, around my neighborhood, and down the road. There is something about running that brings surrender, sacrifice, and letting go.
I hope to run my own race when I feel better, just me. To honor our vets.
Their sacrifices and ability to put up with discomfort makes me humble in comparison.

Celebrate Democracy and Independence. The REAL thing.
Everybody: Run for office and repeal stupid gun and knife laws.
Repeal anything that serves no actual purpose other than to limit our freedoms.
this isnt rebellion, its grassroots democracy, the real thing.
If they wont do it for us, then we kick them out of office and do it ourselves!
