Picked up a Blue Bump and a mini mojo in trade today for a fair price at the Knife Shoppe in Arlington. Nice guys.

Looks for reviews soon.

Yeah. It filled so many holes in my collection...but since I had to trade in a Benchmade balisong, I'm left with a huge gap in my collection again. Darn.

Could you recommend any other knife shops in the DFW area? I'm looking to upgrade from my WalMart-purchased Kershaw Blackout and figure I should actually put my hands on a few different knives before I commit to shelling out that much money...

Well, the Knife Shoppe is the top one in my list, but if you've expended that one, try House of Blades. It's got the biggest selection in Texas as best I know. It's pretty pricy though. If you're in a Kershaw mood, they have a Spec Bump there, or they did maybe a month ago. The knife shoppe does not have one, but Steve was thinking about ordering one last we talked. I'd say that the knife shoppe has an excellent Kershaw selection, but I bought his last mini mojo and bump, so his end Kershaw is pretty depleted at the moment.

Cheaper than dirt also has a knife section. It's been more than a year since I've been there, but I think their prices were pretty good if their selection was a little small.

Man I know what you mean! I have carried a benchmade Bali-song for 20 years! but the local authorities frown on it now so I have switched to the Kershaw asst and the SOG sats..I miss carrying the butterfly but...whats a guy to do?!...Get another one!

Oh yeah, KO is the man. He's definitely one of my favorite designers and his customs are gorgeous.

KO kind of caters to me, since I'm a long time recurve fan.

as far as dfw knife shops go, i havent found many with a good selection.
sportsmans warehouse is good, but they dont have spyderco's.
the mall shops have nice selections but are pricey.

congrats on the kershaw purchase, i really need to pickup a chive to get a feel for kershaw and the assit open

You can convert internet money/pricing to mall store pricing though if you trade knives, since the Knife Shoppe trades at MSRP if it's perfect and has the box. So maybe order like four high end knives and use them as currency.

Where is sportsman's wearhouse?
