Gave my 8year old daughter her pink #0888 Izula this weekend before we went canoeing. Clipped it to her Max water bottle carrier, she was one happy camper, did'nt want to put it down all weekend:D

I just imagined a beaming little girl ... :D

if i can figure out how to get the pics from my phone on the computer i'll see about posting them. as soon as we pulled the canoe into shore we had to find a stick;-)

8 year old, an Izula and woods for an entire weekend. Sounds like a cheap babysitter to me. Good of you to let her have water. :)

Appreciate the post. We're seeing the Izula more and more become a "first knife" for a lot of younger folks. I think that's great!

Cool, I love to hear when kids are happy because of a knife. They make great stories.

This is just as much an all generation knife as a SAK - which my grandfather had, and which was the first knife I got. The Izulas design is appealing to old and young, and to women and man alike. This thing is best seller stuff ...
