My wife won the Spyderco giveaway 2 yrs ago on Knife Day. I think I was more excited than she was

I think it's a good day to get total strangers to experience our hobby. If you've a cheap yet serviceable pocket knife, if you see someone struggling at undoing rope or string, offer to cut it for them using the cheap knife. After you do the favor, give them the knife. Then, if given the oppurtunity, explain basic knife safety and how to maintain the edge on a coffee cup. It's a cheap knife so will be easy to sharpen, though it may not get real sharp.
